RA Power Solutions was approached by a Russian company based in Yekaterinburg, Russia with a request for urgent repair of Wartsila Generator Bearings.

Pre-Inspection of Generator Bearing of Wartsila :
i) The bearing was thoroughly cleaned, the white metal was broken and chipped off from the bearing inner diameter.
ii) Bearing was subject to a shot blasting process for cleaning.
iii) Hardness and MPI for crack detection were done and were observed within limits.
iv) Rebabbitting of the generator bearing was undertaken in our plant having the latest breed of centrifugal equipment and machines. The bearing ID was maintained as per the drawing received from the client.
