Manufacturing of standard and non-standard tri-metal bearings and bi-metal Bearing for marine engine and compressor

As a crankshaft repair company, we have observed that due to serious accidents, the damage to the crankpin/ main journal is much more than the last limit of undersize recommended by the manufacturer. In this case, the engine manufacturer refuses to supply the under-size and oversize bearings.

For example, in case of the last limit of Daihatsu crankpin having a standard diameter of 170 mm and after grinding the size obtained is 167 mm, we manufacture the bearing of 3.0 mm undersize and put the engine back into operation on other hand as per the manufacturer of the engine, the crankshaft cannot be used and is rejected. 

We have saved hundreds of crankshafts by supplying undersize Tri-metal Bearings and Bi-metal Bearings beyond the last limit of grinding recommended by the engine manufacturer. The new Babbitt bearing and white metal bearing after repairing i.e. rebabbitting can be tested by Lloyds, Veritas, etc if required. We follow stringent quality control procedures, which include testing the bonding of white metal with steel lining by using the latest breed of ultrasound equipment.

BEZ alternator and Babbitt white metal bearings are commonly fitted with CKD Skoda diesel sets and other make of diesel-generating sets, especially those which are slow RPM. The BEZ alternator Babbitt bearings are developed and manufactured by us as per the drawing or as per the sample provided by the client. In fact, we have developed, manufactured, and supplied a number of BEZ generator bearings to clients who were not able to operate their CKD Skoda diesel generating sets due to the non-availability of BEZ generator bearings.

We have been regularly manufacturing and exporting BEZ generator bearings to various countries all over the world including Czech Republic, Germany, Russia, Iran, Iraq, etc.

We have also undertaken successful rebabbitting of an old BEZ generator bearing, the white metal which gets worn out or damaged by undertaking the rebabbitting. The rebabbitting of the BEZ generator bearing has proved to be far better than the original bearing as the white metal used by us for babbitting is of higher grade and of the latest specification in comparison to the grade of white babbitt metal which was used by the BEZ generator company 30–40 years back. The alternator bearings up to 1500 mm outer diameter are regularly manufactured by us.

Daihatsu Engine Crankpin and Main Journal Bearing

We as a crankshaft repair company undertake grinding of crankpin and main journal of the crankshaft. The extent of undersize of the crankpin and main journal diameter depends on the damage to the crankpin and main journal diameter. Obviously, after grinding of crankpin and main journal, the undersize bearings are required. We maintain a large stock of Daihatsu engine crank pins and main journal bearings. The bearings of all the undersize Daihatsu, crankpin, and main journals recommended by the manufacturer are available in stock. We also maintain the stock of Daihatsu bearings for the engines which are manufactured by Daihatsu and the bearings/ spare parts are not available.
