The following is recommended:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspection of the turbine shaft bearing seating diameter for taper and ovality. This should be recorded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to corrosion and fatigue cracks, it is recommended to undertake a crack detection check, preferably by magnetic particle test (MPI) or by dye penetrant test. A qualified technician should essentially undertake this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hardness Test &#8211; The hardness of the bearing seating area should be checked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>It is essential that the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crankshaftgrindingmachine.com\/crankshaft-grinding-machine-for-onsite-repair\/\"><strong>turbine shaft bearing<\/strong><\/a> seating diameter is free of bearing line marks, pitting, corrosion, and other defects, and has a surface finish under\u00a0international norms.
